The thing is we're not in the North. Oklahoma is considered part of the South. 4 ft. snow drifts and single digit wind chills make it hard for me to remember that I live in the Southwest. A snow shovel is definitely not one of my favorite yard tools... but I've been operating it this morning. Had to get at least a little of the yard to a point where the snow level is below my dog's ass so he can take a dump.

Club texted me an hour ago, they got 8 inches of snow today and expecting 10 tomorrow with 30 mph winds. That is winter, its freaking only like 35 degrees here and rainy.

Dont know how you guys in the North deal with that crap

Yeah, the brunt of the heavy snowfall from the blizzard just hit us here in Shawnee about an hour ago. To make matters worse the fan on our downstairs heating unit went out last Friday. They had to order the part from Memphis and it hasn't arrived yet. Upstairs has heat so we sleep up there. I had about a rick and a half of wood for my stove, but the woodpile is going down rapidly today. have about 50 people coming to my house tomorrow. God knows we need the body heat.
