Calling your mom for dating advise I have to say Ive never done that one But Ive been married for 9 years now and Id be scarded if I was single again

IMO- she might have been hesitant to call you and do the skating thing because of her kids, maybe she felt uncomfortable asking you to do something and dragging her kids along, especically if you haven't hung out much with just her outside of work. some women feel uncomfortable asking guys to do stuff w/ her and the kids, especially in the beginning. single moms can feel like this sometimes, as it can be awkward for them not knowing how the guy feels about the kids at first........

i don't think it would hurt to call her tonight.

Alright fellas just called my mom up regarding this and she sd because the plan wasnt definite, and she said she would call me "IF" her kids and herself were going skating, and this is the weekend she has her kids to not call her unless she calls me and that even if she doesnt just talk to her at work on Monday and figure out something for next weekend when her kids will be with the father and she is alone....

You should just call and see if she wants to go out you guys dont need to go skating. This way you know IF your going out. Suggest something else IF she doesnt want to go skating. That way you get to go out with her
