I agree a record helps see who is hot or who is cold, and most who post plays consistently do give some sort of input as to how they are doing. I was just wondering if you thought it was okay not to post a record, and if you would still respect the capper? There are several respected cappers on here that I see don't post a record and it's not a big deal. So I am trying to see everyone's points about records and why LM is getting called on it. I assume it's b/c he started one then stopped?

I respect ANYONE here who takes the time and effort to post plays. It's not always easy putting 'em out there sometimes.


....... BUT if you commit to it, then commit to it and don't start threads just to state "I'm proven and no longer keeping a record". Keep that shit in your daily thread because it doesn't look anything except egotistical.

Let me throw in my 2 cents worth I feel if one post plays to throw down on he should keep a record. How hard is it to write them in a notebook and keep track of .It gives the new players on this site some idea of who to throw down on and who to follow ( whoever is crushing the man) Just my opinion

If that's the case, then make it a rule when joining the forum. What penalties do you give someone for not posting a record? How long does someone have to update their records? Daily, weekly, monthly?
I don't buy into that "newbie" needs to know crap either. After a few days of "lurking", they should be smart enough to know.

Really? What if a horrible capper is having a good week or what if it is before a season starts and you are looking for last years results to compare? Like i said, i don't care if you keep them but what you wrote isn't always true.

You're making a bigger deal out of this than it is. LM started a thread saying that he's proven he doesn't need to keep a record, that he wins consistently in all sports, when as Dan posted, that's not the case, after he tracked his plays. Do I have a problem with someone who doesn't keep a record, no. Do I have a problem with someone who says they win all the time when in fact they have a losing record, yes.

Wayne, c'mon. How many other cappers besides yourself keeps a running year after year record? So what info is out there for the newbie to look at before a season?
And if a horrible capper (who?) is having a great weak, if the newbiw followed, wouldn't they have made money? And who do you define as a horrible capper that would fit this?
