  • Kevin Durant of The Golden State Warriors Returns From Injury To Play Against New Orleans Pelicans

Golden State arguably the best team in the NBA is about to get better tonight when they host the New Orleans Pelicans at Oracle Arena at 10:30 P.M ET as Kevin Durant will returning to the Warriors lineup after missing 20 games with a knee injury. During Durant's absence the Warriors started off going 2-4 without him. However, the Golden State Warriors have managed to win their last 13 games without Durant.

Golden State will be without their other star player Stephen Curry whose out with a left knee contusion injury. However, the focus of tonight's game will be how Durant plays as he is coming off a diagnosed grade 2 MCL sprain and a tibial bone bruise. For those of you asking what is a MCL Sprain it is a sprain or tear to the medial collateral ligament. The MCL is a band of tissue on the inside of your knee. It connects your thighbone to the bone of your lower leg. The MCL keeps the knee from bending inward.

How many minutes will Durant play in tonight's game? Well, that will be up to Golden State's Coach Steve Kerr who has said that there is no time limit as it will come down to how Durant feels during the game. The current line on this game has Golden State favored by 17 points and 6000 money line play.

Durant played 31 minutes more than any other Golden State player so his knee must be good.
