Daniel Cormier will be taking on Anthony “Rumble” Johnson tomorrow 4-8-17 in KeyBank Center Buffalo, New York in the UFC 210 highlight fight. However, Cormier missed his weight earlier this morning. He came in at 206 pounds with the limit being 205 pounds for the light heavyweight match-up. Cormier left for a few minutes then came back in to be weighed again. This fight has been touted for the past week and could have ended up being a disaster for the UFC 210 meeting for pay per view let alone the sell out crowd.
Tony Giardina New York State Athletic Commission executive director stated "Explained that fighters are given an extra 2 hours to meet the weight for championship fights only". One would expect such a rule would be in place as I said before this would have been a huge disaster for a fight that has been getting hyped up for the last week.

Anthony Johnson (-125) vs. Daniel Cormier (+105)
Daniel “DC” Cormier (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (22-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC)
