  • Someone explain it to me, PLEASE!

My associates are always getting on me for betting what they call "low value" investments (wagering). I have talked to 100s about this issue and the range for "low value" wagering is anywhere from -140 and up.

Today I played, for example, Soccer Point Total Over 2.5(-154) Totals (West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur)England - Premier League and Rugby Georgia to Win Even(-200) Rugby Union - International Friendlies.

Laugh all you want guys but I cashed a nice nickle on the Rugby game and a dime on the soccer game.

Again, "low value" ?? What the hell is the difference if you lose or win at say -200 . A loss is a loss is a loss and a win is a win is a win.

Because you can loose more games at lower juice over the long haul and still show a profit.

I am not clear on that. Would you be so kind as to expand on your comment. I bet in units of Risk and not Win. Perhaps, that is why I am a little confused here. By the way I know that I am in the minority here concerning the issue that I brought up.

It depends on the sport. If your betting MLB and your betting -200 teams and go 3-2 then your units won are -1.00

Now if you bet 5 mlb teams at -140 and you go 3-2 your units are +1.20 units a difference of 2.20 units putting you in the money
