Chances are you have something autographed by a Cleveland Browns quarterback.
There have been so many quarterbacks come and go in Cleveland, you've probably met one of them somewhere along the way. Well, good news if you don't know what to do with that Charlie Frye autographed helmet: Steiner Sports will give you $100 for it.

Steiner Sports, which sells all types of autographed memorabilia, will give you a $100 gift card from any of the following Browns quarterbacks from when they re-entered the NFL in 1999 until now. Ready? Deep breath ...

Tim Couch, Ty Detmer, Doug Pederson, Spergon Wynn, Kelly Holcomb, Trent Dilfer, Charlie Frye, Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn, Ken Dorsey, Bruce Gradkowski, Jeff Garcia, Colt McCoy, Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace, Brandon Weeden, Thad Lewis, Jason Campbell, Brian Hoyer, Johnny Manziel, Luke, McCown, Connor Shaw, Josh McCown and Austin Davis.

    Whew.

The bad part is the autographed item must be authenticated to get the gift card, and it has to be a photo, mini helmet, football, jersey or card. So tha Spergon Wynn signed credit card receipt you found won't work.

And hey, look at it this way, if Steiner Sports runs this promotion again next year, there's sure to be another quarterback, probably the one the Browns draft second overall, to add to the list. Or maybe there will be two more. Or three. Or ...

I see it's been a while since this topic was discussed, but I just have to ask—does anyone think memorabilia from recent Browns QBs will ever hold real value? With all the changes at the position, it feels like the market is unpredictable. Also, has anyone actually taken offers like this before? Curious if it's worth holding onto autographs or just selling while there's interest.

I get why people would take the $100 gift card, but man, some of those autographs could be worth way more down the road. If someone has a solid collection, displaying them properly is key. I use nixplay to showcase some of my favorite sports memorabilia digitally—it's easier than dealing with frames and shelves. A rotating display keeps the memories alive without taking up too much space.
