Chicago Cubs add to offseason haul by agreeing with OF Jason Heyward to an 8 year deal for $184 million. This guy's numbers don't equate to getting paid that much.
His average stats per season are 19 home runs 68 rbi's and a .268 batting average. At this rate MLB teams are going to end up broke, because I don't see how this guy deserves anywhere near $20+ million a year. He made $4.5 million in his last year and should be getting a 8 year $80-$100 million deal.
