    Has there been a shittier off season acquisition than this fat, worthless, useless sack of shit??

    Sox needed pitching, and they wasted good money of a fat fuck that only cares about hitting the all you can eat buffet. Fat piece of shit!

    Pablo Sandoval was on the field before any of his Red Sox teammates on Friday, taking grounders at third base from coach Brian Butterfield. After a few minutes, he knew he wouldn’t be starting against the Los Angeles Angels.

    Sandoval has a large bruise on the inner part of his left knee, the result of being hit by a fastball on Tuesday. He has not started since but did pinch hit on Thursday.


    “I can’t really throw the ball with anything on it,” Sandoval said. “When I went to throw, my leg went out on me.”

    Running the bases also would be a problem. The bruise is less painful than it was and he hopes to return to the lineup before the weekend is out.

    “Every day a little better. I can hit but it’s hard to do anything else,” Sandoval said.

    Sandoval averaged 138 games a season with the Giants from 2009-14. He does not like sitting out.

    “That’s not me,” he said. “I want to play. But what I can do?”

    With the Angels starting lefthanders C.J. Wilson and Hector Santiago the next two games, the Sox can afford to be patient with Sandoval, who is 2 for 41 (.049) against lefties this season.

    Brock Holt started at third base for the third consecutive game. He was 2 for 3 with a two-run double in a 12-5 loss.
