  • Is the Bills job so shitty you would go to Jacksonville?

    AP
With the pool of head coaching jobs drying up, former Bills head coach Doug Marrone is apparently lowering his sights.

According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Marrone was at Everbank Field Wednesday, ostensibly to interview for the vacant Jaguars offensive coordinator post.

He has the financial flexibility afford by pocketing $4 million from the Bills when he opted out of his contract, but hasn’t found another head coaching job.

He interviewed with the Jets, Falcons and Bears, but the Jets job is already filled and the Bears might be soon.

The Jaguars are looking for a replacement for Jedd Fisch, who was fired on Dec. 30. They have a varied field of candidates, including Vikings running backs coach Kirby Wilson, Dallas offensive line coach Bill Callahan, Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn and Oakland offensive coordinator Greg Olson.

They might also be in the market for an offensive line coach, since George Yarno was out last year while battling cancer.

Again, Marrone can afford to do nothing for a year if he wants, but the chance to work with a young quarterback on an ascending team might be the trick if he wants to rebuild his chances to get another head coaching gig.

No, Marrone was so smart to have a change of owner clause in his contract to where he could bolt like the Cuse pussy that he is and get his full contract. Cunt ass bitch.

I just can't believe you walk away from a head coaching job in the fucking NFL and you don't have another HC job???

        I mean WTF??

I don't care how much money he got, only so many people on this earth EVER get a chance to coach an NFL team.

        Geeze, u just quit???

          Bills have a solid team.

Need a QB but the team is solid.

Not like they were the Raiders, Jax, or the Browns

8 million left on the deal. Even if it's not in the nfl, he'll get 500k as a coordinator in college at worst. 8 million reasons to walk. In all likelihood he ends up with another 4-5 million nfl deal.

He was really pissed they wasted draft picks to move up to take Watkins. Could have done nothing and gotten much better receivers (Beckham Jr, Kelvin Benjamin, etc) and still have 1st and 2nd round picks this coming year.
