  • Just An Observation from on Old Man

I've been sports betting since I was 11 when my Dad would let me play a $1.00 parlay card while he was placing his bets. Just a little secret from a long time gambler, GAME OF THE YEAR, LOCK, HUGE PLAY, MILLION DOLLAR PLAY, (you get the point) there is no such thing. If there was Vegas would be out of business. Any game really is a coin toss, you can get a little edge by doing some homework but ultimately its your choice to risk you money on a game.

Now a wrong post, yes it was a terrible mistake and was corrected to late for most to change their bet but guess what the decision on how much you played on (GOY), which is not a sure thing is your decision. That's why I don't give game of the year plays because I know people play them like their sure things and people bet more than they would normally. Get a good money management system, don't play more than you can aford, to a little homework on your own and remember it's gambling.

How much did you pay for that GOY play? Think about it.

    Well said CheChe.

Looking back to my pre-teen years, I started peddling the "football tickets" when I was 12 and it continued to grow once I got to HS.
Am I the longest tenured BC member?

Che Che, parlay cards, I remember them well, started playing them in the late 70's, and I agree with you post 100%.

Good bankroll management is 3-5% of whatever you have in your account. It's a marathon not a sprint! Yeah, I know that's a cliche saying, but it's true.
