The object of Yahoo Sports Survival Football is to be the last Active member of your individual group.
In order to accomplish this goal, you must correctly pick the winner of one professional football game each week. If you pick a team that loses or ties, you incurs a Strike (i.e., a miss) and could be eliminated, depending on your group's settings. Public groups use "1 Strike and you're eliminated," while private groups can use 1, 2, or 3 Strikes settings.
But, to make this somewhat simple task more difficult, you can only pick each professional football team once during the regular season. In groups that pick through the playoffs, team restrictions will be reset at the start of the playoffs, and you will again be able to pick each team once.

Reading around the net, Yahoo is one of the very few contests where ties aren't a strike. Most of all the others count a tie as a strike. That seems to be the norm....

Swear to God I read that as a tie is a win. WTH? My eyes are fuzzy cuz I just woke up. But I did read at a few other places last night that Yahoo was counting ties as a win....I did just find the same rule that Checkers just posted from Yahoo. Pretty sure it must have been individual Yahoo contests within their league format. Senility is setting in.

Yea that was a tough loss. Take the day off, and stay off the roads.

I saw your photo. You probably account for about 2% of that gross total I'm guessing???
