I'm currently on page 27 of a 269 page long thread on 2+2 and am just absolutely engrossed. (can we name other forums? these 2 aren't similar in nature, but edit if you need mods)

Long story short, this guy has half a mil in live career tournament earnings and is just an absolute mess. Has been hustling airports and other places for a couple hundred bucks at a time to fuel- what has to be the most out of control- gambling habit I've ever seen. He tells a tale of spinning up a few hundred bucks to a over 100k scores on more than one occasion in over ten years, just to piss it all away every time in the span of a few hours.

Anybody heard of this guy? Thoughts on sympathy for a guy like this' sick urge and problem vs. hatred for a scammer conning innocent people at the airport.
