I hope you are right tech but as it stands now, I don't like it.
If rumors pan out and they make a trade with Sacramento, I may love it.
Rondo just doesn't fit here anymore. He controls the ball way too much to co exist with Smart like they are "Saying" they will. The proposed trade to Sacramento would include Rondo going to Sacramento and I. Thomas (Possible FA or restricted FA) coming here. They really like PG McCallum in Sactown and he would back up Rondo. The Kings would like to pair best friends up in 2 trades by also trading for Josh Smith from Detroit. They drafted another SG last night from Michigan. Interesting considering he could be included in a Josh Smith deal. Seeing the Michigan Rookie start for the Pistons in Detroit? Could be a lot of smoke brewing here.
Smart is a playmaker and he needs to ball to do that. I would Move Thomas to SG cause he can shoot. He only had a 2/1 assist to turnover ratio last season and I think he would be a very good SG. I would take a Smart/Thomas backcourt for 10 years and be happy with that. I love Marcus Smart. Just not with Rondo here!
James Young was pretty good in the Tourney but he is still raw and a couple years away from possibly helping.
As for Aaron Gordon ..... STUD!!!!!!!! Love his game, his energy, his attitude and his talent!

With their 2nd pick I was really hoping Boston could move up to get Doug McDermott. I would have loved to put him at the 3 for the next 10 years. He reminds me of Larry Bird. He really does. He shoots lights out, he rebounds, he is similar in size to Bird and he is white. I really think he was a GREAT grab for the Bulls!!!

And FUCK YOU TOO Charlotte!!!
Why give them (Miami) the 1 player they were freakin out to get? Why??
Hey Mike, they just swept you in the playoffs and they are in your own Division. Guess what, they have questions and you may have just fixed them all. Everyone has said for 4 years that boy if they ever got a PG .......
And the 1 they covet and Lebron loves, you hand to them?
I know Charlotte may not want a PG and Jordan probably got his NC boy at that spot anyway, and hey he added a couple picks for nothing by doing it but FUCK THAT!!!
Napier is a great player with very good shooting skills and he is a great defender. Don't let Miami have him. You draft him Mike and you pair him up with his UConn alum Kemba Walker for the next 10 years. You dumbass Mike. Idiot!!!
With that said the Heat get what they want yet again so i'll say it, FUCK YOU TOO MIAMI!!!

And I didn't like or understand the OKC draft at all kb. Isn't Mcgary and Adams the same damn guy? I would rather have seen them take a Napier for backup scoring and defense behind Westbrook. Good insurance too if he got hurt. Either that or a SG. Either J. aDAMS OR pj hAIRSTON. And with that 2nd pick I would have loved to see them go with the really athletic C. Early instead of Huestis. I think Early will be a great pick for the Knicks.
To me, this means Perk is either traded or amnesty is used on him and they go with Adams starting and MCgary as the backup. I still don't like it though and I would rather see Gortat there and Adams backing him up!

You simply can't/shouldn't have a backcourt of Rondo/Smart. As I said, Rondo is a ball hog and rarely gives it up until the shot clock is down and Smart needs the ball more than that. He isn't a great or good spot up shooter for that role. He is more of a creater. You also can't start 2 guards that can't shoot. Neither is a great shooter. If you want to start a G like Thomas from Sacramento with Smart that's different. He is a scorer and they can share the ball. You need at least one G that can shoot it and if you start those 2 with Green and Sullinger, you have nobody who can hit the outside shot tech. It is just a really bad mix!
