Heisman Champion Johnny Manziel Chosen 22nd by the Cleveland Browns

The actual Houston Texans chose South Carolina defense pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney using the very first general pick within the 2014 NFL Draft On Thursday April 8th 2014.

Clowney is actually seen as an once-in-a-generation sportsman that includes issues regarding their work ethic, such as uncertainties through South Carolina's Coach, Steve Spurrier. However brand new Texans trainer Bill O'brien came to the defense of Clowney in the last couple of months, by saying that no other college defensive pass rusher has rushed the quarterbacks more often than Clowney.

The Cleveland Browns drafted Texas A&M Quarterback Johnny Manziel with the 22nd pick. Many fans disagreed around the internet on when Johnny Manziel should be taken in the draft. Higher draft pick teams fans were hoping for Johnny Manziel to be their pick, but didn't get the choice that they wanted.

Johnny Manziel will be taking over the starting quarterback job for a team that has had quarterback problems for a very long time. Not to mention that Cleveland has just recently went through a change in Coach and General Manager. Still Cleveland believes with Johnny Manziel's mixture of speed, running ability and arm strength that he will fit in with the Browns and Star receiver Josh Gordon.

Some Brown fans are happy while others are not. The browns have been notorious for picking quarterbacks that didn't pan out such as Brady Quinn and Brandon Weeden which both were drafter in the first round at number 22 which is exactly where Manziel went. Can this be an omen or a blessing to the Browns organization as well as the fans? Only time will tell if Manziel can handle the defensive players in the NFL.
