University of South Florida offered the Manhattan coach Steve Masiello a 5 year contract at over $1 million per year to be there new basketball coach pending a background investigation. Well USF rescinded the offer yesterday after finding out that Masiello lied on his resume when he stated he had a bachelor's degree from Kentucky in communications. My question is why the fuck would you lie about having a degree. I am sure having a degree is not a prerequisite to getting a head coaching job. All a school cares about is how many games did you win at your previous job, so why lie about a degree. Obviously the lie is what fucked him not the fact that he didn't have a degree. Now what does his previous employer Manhattan do? Let him come back or tell him to go F... himself. What a n asshole.
