Really wish I didn't have time to watch that game..the refs were making sure Arkansas won that. I love to see a good upset but not one that's called one-sided. Counted 3 or 4 "All ball" Kentucky blocks that were called fouls...ugly game.......it'll set up nicely for a pissed off Kentucky team to win HUUUUGE on Feb 27th..Vegas can't make that spread big enough

Nothing was worse than having Oklahoma +5 and watching the last 5 minutes of that game. If you had K-St you now believe in miracles and if you had OU you wanna fuckin puke all over yourself!!! -

I was thinking about you last night watching that at the end. I was so close to tailing you after I saw your play, but luckily refrained. I kept thinking they were going to somehow cover or push at the very worst then they foul again with like 6 seconds to go after leading or being within the # all damn game. I thought that the game was poorly officiated from the start. But to say that they favored Arkansas, not so sure about that. Randle is a BEAST but there were many times a foul was called and there wasn't contact. As far as contact, why didn't they call the fould on Randle with the elbow.....or better yet, review it? They reviewed the elbows from earlier in the game but not in a tie game at the end?

You're right, they were calling garbage calls on both teams; You could actually see how much Kentucky knew that and kept driving to the hoop hoping for foul calls. But I saw multiple GREAT blocks by Kentucky on Arkansas that were called fouls. Of course, I think that was just one of those games where the refs will call a foul on any defense with two guys at the basket, but still. Then that crucial possession with a few minutes left and tied, Kentucky inbounded the ball and the guy got nudged to go backcourt. I think that would be called in MOST games, not all..if that was Kentucky that had done that to Arkansas, I am sure it would have been called. Hell I could feel the Kentucky players' frustration from not being able to get over the hump and stretch the lead!...and stats don't tell the whole story but they definitely back up what Im saying..Kentucky shot 48% from the field, Arkansas 37.7%. Kentucky 46% 3Pt FG Arkansas 29%. FT% about the same...44 Kentucky rebounds to 29 for Arkansas..........but then look at the steals and turnovers; 10 to 3 steals in favor of Arkansas and 16 to 6 turnovers. Arkansas played that shitty and got ten less turnovers in a game that Kentucky was not rattled one bit by that crowd (the FG and FT%'s show that and I could see it myself). You can say the steals were a matter of playing better defense, but no, the refs had everything to do with that. Kentucky was the better team, they looked like the better team, and they played better. I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any means, but I do think the refs favored Arkansas in that game for whatever reason. With all that said, again, I do agree with you that these refs were just awful for both teams.
