Hey, I didn't expect anyone to agree but guess what? If he had done it, I bet Auburn is holding a crystal ball today. Plain & simple. I feel pretty good about Mason getting 1 yard on 3 attemps from the 1 yard line, especially considering he had done it all night.
And who cares that he ran for 195 or whatever? That makes my point that he would have gotten one more yard. At 2 PM today on the Jim Rome show I heard someone (for the 1st time) agree with me. Bruce Feldman (Writer) said that Mason would have been better off going down inside the 15 somewhere because way too much time is left on the clock.
I don't care if he ran for 400 yards. If he is smarter and takes a knee at the one, chances are they win. Read his own words. He feels like shit today. Well, you could have changed that Tre if you were thinking team and not touchdown. Maybe next time you will!
