  • San Diego Wins the Super Bowl

It may be worth placing a bet on them to win the Super Bowl. Call it the Eagles Effect. In 2009 the Eagles opened their home schedule against the Saints and the Saints won the Super Bowl. In 2010 they opened against the Packers and the Packers won the SB, 2011 they opened against the Giants and the Giants won the SB, in 2012 it was the Ravens and the Ravens won the SB. Well this year they opened against the Chargers. It's a weird betting trend but why not? Just a thought.

Maybe but I don't see it. If Miami beats ne Sunday I don't even think they make the playoffs. Like trends, they all come to an end at some point!

I agree that all trends come to an end but you have to admit that is a really weird one. I wouldn't bet my last $20 on them but you never know. I agree with you that I doubt they even make the playoffs. I heard today that both Miami and Baltimore would have to go 1-2 while San Diego wins out for them to go. because they lose all the tiebreakers.

They certainly looked like a playoff team last night. That is weird though. It will be tough to jump Miami and Baltimore though. I didn't mention the Ravens cuz they have a tough schedule to finish out the season. If they play good enough to win those 3, they could be dangerous in the post season. I'm just not even sure if they get past Monday night.

I might be wrong but gun to my head, I think Baltimore, San Diego and Miami all finish 9-7. In that scenario, San Diego gets eliminated based on having the worse conference record of the 3, and Baltimore goes to the playoffs based on them having beat Miami earlier this year. At least that's what I am hoping for as a Raven's fan.

Yeah, Miami has a really beat up NE team this week. They win that and they could win out and take the final spot. I know the Ravens have a tough one Monday at Detroit and another tough one against Cincy. Both teams that really have to win too. I'm not sure what their 3rd game is but the Ravens have the toughest path of the 3 IMO.

Wow I thought this was a joke at first. You know Phillip Rivers is the QB for SD right??? Ain't no way in hell his ass can win 3-4 games in a row in the playoffs to win a tiltle. Never,Never,Never going to happen

Hmmmmmm.....I love trends like this that have no real statistical value. We have them at our site at $35 a week to make SuperBowl
