I agree kb. It just makes no sense to me. You trade the 3rd pick in the draft to a team that will give you a pick in the late teens or twenties?

Worley needs to go on and start at goodwill this Saturday cause he ain't worth a shit. He looked decent against two cupcakes and then could barely hit a pass once he had to play a big boy school like Oregon. Bridgewater could have the same fate come the bowl game when he finally faces a good team.Originally posted by jcindaville View PostWorley won't make it to that level!

Maybe I am on the outside here but I really don't think this is a bad move from a rebuilding standpoint. You don't make a running back the cornerstone of your team.2 of the greatest running backs I have seen Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson are great but neither has been in a superbowl. If u are rebuilding a team u get you a great Qb Or a great defensuve player.Giants won with Lawrence Taylor New England won with Brady.Running Backs in my opinion are overrated in the NFL.EMMIT Smith was probably the 3rd or 4th best player on the Cowboys of the 90's.He also had a great great Line that if Emmit would have played anywhere else he would have been average.Next year's draft is going to be very strong draft class.I think Clevland is banking on getting Bridgewater or Manziel or Taj Boyd and might just be able to do that with a 15th pick in the 1st roundMLB 2012***100-98 +$215 OR +2.15 UNITS

I agree 100 %. The current owner and GM want to completely rid themselves of the previous regime and getting rid of Richardson, which was a stupid pick to begin with, is one way of doing it. This is a passing league now. You can pick up a decent running back in the 3rd or 4th round. In fact all the experts I read said that the Colts were crazy giving up a first round pick for him. They say the Browns got the better of the deal. Truth be known the Browns completely blew it last year when they didn't select RGIII when they had a shitload of draft picks and could have easily beat out Washington for the pick. They now have 2 #1s, 2 #3s and 2#4s so they should be able to get whet they want in a QB. After thinking about it maybe this is the first smart move they made.Originally posted by tech fan View PostMaybe I am on the outside here but I really don't think this is a bad move from a rebuilding standpoint. You don't make a running back the cornerstone of your team.2 of the greatest running backs I have seen Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson are great but neither has been in a superbowl. If u are rebuilding a team u get you a great Qb Or a great defensuve player.Giants won with Lawrence Taylor New England won with Brady.Running Backs in my opinion are overrated in the NFL.EMMIT Smith was probably the 3rd or 4th best player on the Cowboys of the 90's.He also had a great great Line that if Emmit would have played anywhere else he would have been average.Next year's draft is going to be very strong draft class.I think Clevland is banking on getting Bridgewater or Manziel or Taj Boyd and might just be able to do that with a 15th pick in the 1st round
