The Cleveland Browns have traded former first-round pick Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a first-round pick, according to a league source.

Cleveland selected Richardson with the third overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft out of Alabama.

Richardson rushed for 950 yards and a Browns rookie record 11 touchdowns last season.

Browns current owner and GM fired Pat Shurmur and their former GM because they were too stupid to pull the trigger 2 years ago when they should have traded their extra picks to the Rams for Robert Griffin. Dumping Richardson is there way of saying fuck the previous regime. I think they are gonna load up on picks in an attempt to draft a franchise QB like Bridgewater from Louisville. These are the kind of moves that explain why the Browns are perennial losers.

This is a great move for Trent. I own him in 2 leagues also.
He was the only offensive weapon in cleveland. now he goes to
a team that has WR's a great QB .....he may lose touches but
he will have more opportunities to score and get big yardage in the colts offense.
