With the tremendous lack of depth at the WR position (even before Gronk and Hernandez situations) why the heck did they let Welker leave?

Cuz belidouche couldn't keep him in line like the rest of the team. He figured once they told Wes they needed an answer on their offer and Wes waffled, they moved on to what they considered a younger version of Wes in amendola. Both small white dudes out of the same Texas tech system. They think he is more versatile too and can play more than the slot position. Problem is everyone in the world knew he would be hurt at some point and it took 1 week.

Kb, watch this kenbrell thompkins kid. He is a undrafted kid out of Cincy and he may be better than the 2 wr's they drafted. Brady loves him and they had great rhythm in the preseason. He had a whopping 14 targets in week one when amendola was there. He only caught 4 passes though because he made some rookie mistakes like turning in on a route instead of out. Once they get that cleaned up he could be really good. Expect Edelman to play the welker role tonight and thompkins to be on the outside. The one guy they want to stretch the field with is their top Wr draft pick Dobson. He is a tall fast dude that caught everything at Marshall.

Wayne, What they saying up there about Ridley? I hate starting someone with a shoulder injury. They can tape up legs, arms, ankles and wrist but boy a shoulder injury can knock you out the game on the first hit.
