This system has been around forever and some guys blindly bet it year after year. there are variations, modifications, etc., but it basically works like this:
Take the home team in game one of the playoffs and the visitor in game two. Keep alternating.
The home team went 7-1 ATS in game one and the visitor went 5-3 ATS in game two. the system is therefore: 12-4.
A modified system is to play on whichever team lost its last game SU. This one is 5-3 right now.
These things have held up pretty well over the years.
