I disagree.

Minnesota is a terrible underachiever. They are the ONLY Division I team in their entire state!!!

Yet, they routinely lose their top in-state recruits to schools like Wisconsin. Similar population states have three, four or five Div I schools to compete with. Heck, little old Kansas had three teams make the tournament and two are in the sweet Sixteen! Even the Dakotas have multiple Div I programs.

One of the problems with Minnesota is the public there doesn't invest in facilities. The Minnesota basketball arena was built in the 1920s! Hard to recruit players to play in a dump. The Vikings are still in that awful dome. Even the new UM FB stadium is nothing to write home about---small, no amenities, etc.

Still, Tubby just seems tired. His team was built for the NIT. I gootta think an energetic young coach like the guy from Florida Gulf Coast or even Shaka Smith could turn that thing around
