Just some food for thought. Recent history says either the Pats or Broncos will lose outright this weekend. The last 5 times a team coming off the bye were favored by 7 points or more they lost the game outright. G-men beat Dallas -7 in 2008, Cards beat the Panthers -10 in 2009, Jets beat the Chargers -7' in 2010, Jets beat the Pats -9' in 2011 and last year, the G-Men beat the Packers -8. Which one goes down this year.

Vegas has to be getting hammered with Broncos/Pats teaser. I really like the Ravens to keep it close and perhaps win. Ravens vs Pats rematch. I don't think you could go wrong playing Baltimore and Houston ATS this week.MLB (2014): (3-4) -.9 units

More interesting facts about top 2 seeds coming off the bye. In the Belichick era the Pats are 8-0 in the playoffsplaying against teams they did not play in the regular season. Against teams they did face they are just 8-6 and just 3-6 since 2005. May bode well for Houston.
Atlanta and Denver fans may want to ignore this historical trend but the trend points to either Atlanta or Denver losing in the divisional round or title game and the other losing in the Super Bowl. It happened again last year for the 8th time in 12 seasons.
2000, the No. 1 Titans lost in the divisional round to the Ravens and the No. 1 G-Men lost to the Ravens in the SB.
2001, No. 1 Steelers lost in the AFC title game to New England and the No. 1 Rams lost lost the SB to the Pats.
2002, No. 1 Eagles lost in the NFC title game to Tampa and the No. 1 Raiders lost the SB to the Bucs.
2004, the No. 1 Steelerslost in the AFC title game to the Pats and the No. 1 Eagles lost the SB to New England.
In 2005 the No. 1 Colts lost in the Divisional round to the Steelers and the No. 1 Seahawks lost the SB to Pittsburgh.
In 2006, the No. 1 Chargers lost in the divisional round to New England and the No. 1 Bears lost in the SB to the Colts.
In 2007, the No. 1 Cowboys lost in the Divisional round to the G-men and No. 1 New england lost the SB to the G-men. In the past 4 years 5 out of 8 No. 1 seeds lost their playoff openers including the Giants and Titans in 2008, the Pats and Falcons in 2010 and the Pack last year.
In 2011 the No. 1 Packers lost in the divisional round to the G-Men and the No. 1 Pats lost the SB to the G-men
In 2009 when the No. 1 Colts played the No. 1 Saints in the SB that was the firsdt time 2 No. 1 seeds advanced to the SB since 1993. Thus being a No. 1 seed means very little in the world of the NFL playoffs.Last edited by ravenmaniac; 01-09-2013, 04:56 PM.

Your entitled to your opinion but in my opinion I think the better teaser is Houston and the Ravens both getting 16. And yes I have already bet both Houston and Baltimore with the point spread and small ML plays
