  • NFL Fantasy Question

Who do I start this weekend?

Joe Flacco @ Cleveland or Josh Freeman @ Oakland

  • #2
Oakland giving up 246 ypg passing
    Cleveland 260 ypg passing

oakland has 5 int on season
cleveland has 10 int on season

    oakland 10 sacks on year
    cleveland 19 sacks on year

oakland is in the top half rushing def this year=possibly more pass att
cleveland in bottom 1/3 of rushing def this year= possible big day for Ray Rice

    imo i would start Freeman.....with that being said I am a combined 5-11 in my 2 leagues....lol

          Josh is the pick

Better matchup and Cleveland shut down Rivers last week
In my league Freeman is the 10th highest scoring QB.

            Some more food for thought.

Slacco is 1-2 on the road this year and the one was against KC in a battle of FG kickers.
Slacco in those 3 games has 2 passing TD, 4 INT, 50% completion rate, and a whopping 566 yards.
Pretty shitty numbers if you ask me!
He did hit the Browns for 356 and 1 TD scoring about 20 fantasy points, but that was at home, he clearly isn't the same QB on the road.

Cleveland has given up some passing TD's at home this year.
2 to Vick, 3 to Dalton, 3 to Fitz, and a goose egg to Rivers.

Freeman on the road this year has passed for 6 TD's and 3 INT in 3 games. Those 3 teams are the GMen, Cowboys, and Minny. I don't think Oaklands D is any better than those 3.

Oakland has been decent at home against QB's. Big Ben smoked them for 4 TD's and they held hapless Gabbert and Rivers to 1 TD each. Oaklands D has faced 3 top 10 QB's so far this year and 2 out of the 3 smoked their secondary for 7 TD's but they did hold Matt Ryan to one TD.

Freeman right now is borderline elite, at least he is playing like it. He has awesome weapons with Jackson and Williams plus a stud running game, no way I could take Slacco over Freeman this week.

Best of luck whichever way you go KB

                  Ok Freeman it is.

                  One more for you all.

Another team my QB's are the two schizo's of the NFL, Romo and Philip Rivers.

Who do I go with there?

I have one, if you don't mind me posting it in here. Eli Manning or Mike Vick. Thinking Vick

Any QB vs the Saints is a gold mine. Even Vick. Eli vs Pitt makes the decision even easier IMO!

I'd roll with Vick as well.
