BC Community- Random Symantics question

Ok no judging here but is there any difference between "placing" a bet and a bet being "accepted"? Any input would be appreciated.

No difference really , Placing a bet would equal the same thing as a bet being accepted because in order for a bet to be accepted you must place a bet!!
