Fan League Mock Draft (?)

I've played in Fantasy Leagues for (only) 3 or 4 years . I have never used a Mock Draft before the actual Draft !
What am I missing here ?? Don't really get it !

It is mainly a way to practice your draft strategies - you can see what other people are doing and also use it to get used to making your decisions quickly. It is also another way for us degerates to be degenerate....
