I have no doubt that Paterno himself could have been banging boys and the faithful would have forgiven him. It just shows the lengths people will go for a winning football program. That's the bottom line here. Paterno and staff members ignored what they were finding out about Sandusky because they KNEW it would be detrimental to their beloved football program. I don't agree with Wayne, I think paying players and other forms of benefits is influential in football games than Sandusky fucking boys and Joe Pa turning his head. I don't think they deserve the death penalty, I do think everyone who was culpable should do jail time.
Major sanctions against the University, no Post season, scholarship reductions,& a serious chunk of football money would be given by Penn st to organizations that benefit children who are victims of abuse.
