Rules violation.... 5 min. in Penalty Box for trying to help
Thanks again, Kaptain.
Again and although I can't prove it, from what I have seen over the years and not just this year, I simply don't trust the Lakers and therefore stay away from betting on or against then except in rare instances.

Most all of us have a jinx team.
As I said in the other thread though, even if did bet on or against the Lakers, I thought last night was very risky to go against them in spite of the fact that they have been playing lousy and the Clippers well.
I say this because imo sometimes as soon as line is adjusted too much, it is time to go the other way-this is also terue in the stock market to some extent-buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying.
In this case, the fact that the Lakers had been made a 3 point dog was to me a sign that there had been an overreaction and it was time to be careful.
When one couples that with the fact that the Lakers have been known to be a lazy team at times and many times have/do just play down to the level of their competition(ie enough to win but not cover), I smelled something rotten last night and am not at all surprised that they not only covered the spread but won the game straight up.
