  • Cortland Finnegan to Rams

The St. Louis Rams and former Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan have reached agreement on a five-year deal worth roughly $50 million, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Finnegan is scheduled to arrive in St. Louis on Tuesday, the sources said.

Jeff Fisher, who was hired as Rams coach in January, drafted Finnegan when Fisher was in Tennessee.

Finnegan, 28, has 14 career interceptions, with one coming last season.

Huge pick up. Fisher will turn this team around fast.

I like it a lot for the Rams. Good coach brings in good talent. With their WR core (Loyd and Alexander), a semi solid LB position, and now a blackhole on the corner they should be able to get back to where they were two seasons ago at worst as long as Stephen Jackson stays healthy and doesn't regress.
No thrills, frills, spills or write-ups. Just givin ya the winners everyday.
