  • G Monta Ellis Traded To Milwaukee Bucks

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson to the Golden State Warriors, a source confirmed to ESPN.com.

The Bucks will receive guard Monta Ellis, forward Ekpe Udoh and center Kwame Brown, the person confirmed to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the deal had not been announced. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the deal on its website Tuesday night.

I don't hate the trade for the Warriors. I know Warriors fans think we could've gotten more but that's just no the case. Bogut is a big risk though, but I like him when he plays.

Looks like it may be a shot for the Magic to obtain Ellis now. i mean Sheed was traded to ATL for a game then got traded to DET and helped lead them get a ring.

I think the Magic will trade Howard to the Nets tomorrow for Lopez and brooks as well as draft picks.

This trade makes absolutely no sense to me. You trade away your best player for a guy that can't stay healthy...and you also get a guy back who you couldn't stand in prior years? Oh wait, there's more...you throw in Udoh as part of the deal. I just talked to a buddy who lives in Fremont and the sentiments were the same...WTF is GS doing once again?!

People over value Monta because he scores. They weren't going anywhere with him. I'm just glad we did something and I like Bogut.

You ain't going anywhere with jackson and bogut, a guy who has won nothing and is hurt every year either. At least with monta you get points and with curry struggling to get and stay on the court, I hate the deal for gs but I love it for the bucks who can put him with jennings for a great guard combo. You always want the best player in any trade and it is monta in this one.

We'll see what happens to the Bucks with Jennings and Monta jacking up shots. You need a low post presents in the NBA to do well. Warriors were stuck in mediocrity. Bogut isn't Greg Oden. He plays hard and had some unlucky injures. Bogut is huge and quick, there's not many center like him at all when he plays. Glad they took a chance

Maybe they are just trying to get to the playoffs this year. Is Bogut out for the year? I think teams just get tired of losing sometimes.

I find it hard to believe that meathead Jackson and Andrew i'm always injured Bogut were all they could get for Monta when teams like Orlando were begging for him. The Warriors GM should be kicked in the head for accepting that garbage in return.

Orlando offered Ryan Anderson, Hedo Turk and more garbage. Take a look around at the centers in the NBA, and also who you think would've traded them one. I'll save you some time, there isn't any.

I would have taken that in a heartbeat over the garbage they got. Those are 2 guys who play their ass off and will get on the floor for you. If you would have told Orlando to give you that AND a #1 draft pick, i bet they would have done it.

They got absolute TRASH in return!

Besides, wtf good is a center if you know he is only going to play half the season every year?
