A good QB can only take you so far. Again, I like RGIII, but the way Snyder runs that team, I don't think he'll take them to where they wanna be.

The story also said that Cleveland offered the Rams the same exact deal and they took the Washington deal. The Browns must be pissed!

"The Cleveland Browns had stepped up their efforts to try to acquire the No. 2 pick in recent days, going so far as to offer at least three No. 1 picks to the Rams and possibly even the second-round pick, according to one source familiar with the deal. Cleveland sensed it was going to get the deal done, only to be informed that St. Louis planned to deal the coveted No. 2 pick to the Redskins."

The 2nd rd pick may have been the sticking point. Or the Rams think the Skins will suck worse that the Browns the next 2 seasons...haha.

Well then what should they do Jimmy, just fold up shop and contract the team? Snyder isn't going anywhere. I heard the same about Donald Sterling and the Clippers for 100 years and things are changing there. Maybe they are in Washington too. Who knows but i like the deal and think it's worth the risk.

QB's can not take hits, that the bottoms line. Even Cam Newton won't last if he takes too many hits. With that said, without a franchise QB it's tough to really win anything, so I don't blame the Redskins for going for it. They would've been stuck in mediocrity. If he's a bust, it's really gonna kill the Redskins, but without the move, it might take them 5 years to even be decent.

I guess the Rookie of the Year QB that doesn't have a line worth a shit deserves to be shipped out of town for an unproven product? LMFAO... Good luck with RGIII over Bradford. Glad you're not GM of my team

I agree BW but RG3 ran a lot less than Cam did in College. I don't think he will run as much as some think. He doesn't need to with an arm like that!

Hey, Bradford went backwards from year 1 to year 2. All his stats prove that and i'm not sure the line was any better or worse in either year. This is a big and telling year for him and only time will tell.

You didn't watch many Rams games I know. No need to go further in this discussion.

I have nothing against him kb but the knock on him coming in was injuries and he did great in year one playing 16 games. In year 2, he only played 10. If they don't fix that line, the trend will continue.

A lot of players go backwards from year 1 to year 2.

The Rams were awful last season...Bradford had no help. Precisely the issue I see now w/RGIII going to the Skins.

And that is exactly why i think a mobile QB would fit a team with a bad line much better than a pocket passer would.

Rams now have picks 6, 34 and 39 in the 1st 2 rounds...pretty good way to rebuild.

Exactly my point... The line needs 3 #1 picks Which they got. RG III or Bradford, mobile QB or not, will get murdered behind the line they had last year and the receiving corp. Both the worst in the league

Surprised they didn't trade w/Cleveland...guess they don't think too highly of Blackmon.
