Just like being a member of the Navy Seals or a top athlete.Your will power and your dedication to win is something most people don't have.I heard a navy seal one time say," You have to be almost crazy to be a navy seal.He said most seals if they would not have joined the navy would be in jail. I just started reading the thread today. Early on in the thread it amazed me how some people can bash a person (Superstar) they have seen on TV, but have never met personally. Its one thing to not agree with an athlete, but to get personal with hate...WOW. Like it or not (Some people) Tiger is back !!! Congrats Vols and Watchtower...Comment

I actually love watching Tiger play and he isn't part of Golf, he is golf. The ratings clearly prove that point.
As I said before, If you are going to take millions trying to sell me everything under the sun and come in to my living room on a daily basis, you are open to criticism too when you fuck up.
I am very impressed with how he turned things around and it will be fun to watch the Masters again, but I certainly don't look up to him as this great man like many do.
To each their own I guess!

In my eyes Wayne u are a Tiger Woods fan.I don't think the person has got to be a saint to be able to have a fan base.As a kid u look up to athletes and put them on a pedastal but as an adult I think that u look at it differently.As an adult u don't idolize an athlete but you respect them for how they play the game.I used to love watching Montana as a kid run the 2 min. I think I admitted that tech when I said I loved watching Tiger play.
The women and shit doesn't really bother me. The whispers of steroids are what bothered me the most. To be the greatest ever and find out it was all fake. That would really irritate me. And where there is smoke, there is usually fire.Comment

well he's back to number 1 without any help (if that's what you think made him so good and bothered you) but last time i checked, he was walking over the competition in high school and his early years.
If there is smoke, well history tells me that if you take steroids, you fade fast and never regain the top spot you once were, well tiger is back,and it's telling me golf is mostly MENTAL.
Don't think steroids help you make a 20ft putt, this isn't baseball...Comment

That's what makes this world great WT. We all have our own opinion and you're damn straight steroids would make a difference. First off, it helps you recover from injuries and I think it adds to his strength, vision and precision too. See Barry Bonds.Comment
