I think that game in Stillwater just got a whole lot tougher for OU with the loss of Broyles. What a huge injury!

I think i would take LSU over anybody else right now in a National Title game. They will score points off anybody but Bama and their defense is so far ahead of those other teams IMO, that it will make that big of a difference. I think the 1 team that could really challenge them is Stanford. I think they have the defense and they have Luck, a guy that i believe may be the smartest and by far, best QB in the Country!

Don't like getting involved in these arguments on here because everyone has their own opinion BUT - I do agree with Wayne that Bama is the only defense that could stop LSU's offense like they did tonight. Other teams might slow them down but not shut them out.
I also FIRMLY believe that LSU has by far, the best defense in the country. Stanford/LSU would be a great matchup in my opinion.

Broyles injury is huge for OU. With him, I thought they might have a chance to sneak back in there and do something. Without him, they'll struggle. Defense can be exposed as has been seen. Have to see how Wort's injury situation is at LB. Jamell Fleming is a top notch CB though. Be a great matchup with him and Blackmon come season's end.

Like to see either Stanford, Oklahoma State, or Oklahoma end up playing them in the NC.

LSU has averaged 35 points per game even after the 9 point game vs Alabama and they have only played one dud. I dont really see any team in the country that will put up 35 on them. The most was Oregon with 27 and that was the first game of the season. Since then the opponents have averaged 8.8 points.

To add to that, at home(and in NC they might as well be considered at home) their winning margin is 42.5-7.75.

A team that does not make their own conference championship game should not be in the national title game. I know it has happened before but without getting that extra game, I have no idea how you make the national title game.

ALOT of crazy shit could still happen.LSU still has a hot Arkansas team to play. If Arkansas wins then LSU,Ark and Alabama would all have 1 loss and I'm guessing Alabama would play for the Sec cause they would be ranked higher in the polls. It's going to be a crazy last few weeks

Plus I agree with Dimer, the game was very sloppy...I know both Ds are very good, but come on that game could have been so much better if not for the miscues on offense, misses passes, fgs, etc

I agree 100%.Everyone giving LsU the trophy now is crazy.Like Vols said a lot of football left to play.If u take away the missed fg's and the interception on the 2 yard line everyone here is tqlking about how great BamA is.This game could have gone either way.I aglow think the better team lost the game but it is what it is.I am mixed on what should happen in the national championship game.Would love and I mean love to see a Lsu BamA rematch.But then again iwould be great 2 have 2 great games in Lsu verse ok st and BamA verse Stanford.

I really really hope now that both LSU and OK St. run the table. Although I am one that thought LSU vs Bama was a great game, I really dont want to see the rematch, specially SEC vs SEC rematch. I would like to have LSU go up against an undefeated team from a different conference and change that status for them
