Wow just tried to cap this game and .......

Please let me know what ya think....

Outside of Ohio being home and perhaps maybe some sort of shit homecoming which I don't know... On paper temple rolls this team.....the problem is that it opened at 4 and now is at 3.5... To me makes zero sense

Anyone look at this one yet?

this is what stands out to me

temple beat ball st at ball st 42-0
ohio lost while at home to ball st 20-23

temple beat akron on the road 41-3
last week ohio beat them 37-20

here is the key stat for the game in my opinion

every game temple has played this season has gone under the posted total.
      MLB 2012***100-98 +$215 OR +2.15 UNITS
      HUGE PLAYS 2-1

not sure why this game is only 3.5 right now either but linesmakers have made alot of mistakes earlier in the season but here lately have kinda been doing alot better job.

Dont see how you can not play

        temple -3.5
        under 47.5

This is just my take but you might want to play that under right before kickoff because with them scoring 123 points last night i think this line is going to shoot up today.

I agree Tech this line is fishy or a huge mistake! I can't imagine it's a mistake as oddsmakers with only one game on tap for tonight normally don't make a mistake...

          Maybe it's just a gift!

            this line is very fishy.

I wouldnt bet this game. MAC games have been shady in years past.

shit Akron i believe was on the buy for 3-4yrs

temple should roll IMO they should be laying 7-8pts here atleast.

If Temple is capable of losing @ Bowling Green, they certainly are capable of losing tonight too!

Temple has not covered a spread ever against Ohio in 4 tries and they are (1-3) SU in those games.

Temple does one thing, they run. Ohio is in the top 20% in the Country stopping the run (Ranked 28th)

Temple has not won their final regular season road game since 2002 and they havn't covered a spread in that spot since 2005

Ohio is (10-1) SU & (9-2) ATS in their last 11 after scoring 35 or more in the previous game

Solich has Ohio playing their best late in seasons going (7-1) ATS in their last 8 November games

Ohio is (5-0) ATS L5 following a bye week

Temple is (1-4) ATS L5 following a bye week

I see places where the line opened at -5 and it is down to -3.5 ........ with 70% of the public on Temple. Another clear sign that Ohio may be the play.

Not sure what i am doing but i do lean towards Ohio and i think there are plenty of reasons to take them tonight!

Ohio is also (7-1) ATS in their L8 mid-week games and i like that too. It has to be a little different playing mid-week games and this team and coaching staff seems to adjust very well to it.

There is no doubt that if Temple controls the tempo in this and plays "Their Game", they will roll.

The MAC is very weird though. These teams leave Conference and compete like Ohio, pounding Marshall and playing @ Rutgers til the end hard (Down 28-20 after 3), and then they lose to (2-7) Buffalo. Temple beats Maryland 38-7 on the road and loses by only 4 @ Penn St, then they get pounded at Home by Toledo and they lose to (3-5) Bowling Green on the road.

Whatever you think is gonna happen, usually doesn't when MAC teams play each other. At least that is my personal feelings with this hard to cap conference!

Very thorough info Wayne. The only thing it doesn't process is how these two teams fared against like opponents. Temple was clearly the better team. Every one of your points is valid and Solich is a great coach. Your info and like opponent records make this a difficult pick IMO. Good info!

Didn't they only have 3 like opponents?

I hear what you are saying but wouldn't you agree that teams do not play the same to start a season as they do to finish it? Some get better based on play and injuries, some get worse.

They both recently played Buffalo. Temple beat them at Home 34-0. Ohio lost to them on the road 38-37. I think you would agree that playing them at Home is much easier than playing them on the road. Buffalo just missed an extra point at home last weekend that would have tied the game with a very good N. Illinois team and sent that game to overtime. Tougher team in Buffalo than on the road (IMO).

They both played Akron on the road. Temple beat them early in the season by 38 and Ohio beat them recently by 17. If you look at the Akron season, it is horrible but they have played better in the 2nd half of the season and when Ohio played them.

The one that really stands out is Ball St. Temple pounded them on the road and Ohio lost to them at Home in the same time period. No excuse for that one except to say sometimes teams just match up differently with other teams.

IMO Kaz, Every MAC game is hard to cap but that's just me.
