I still can't believe he didn't catch that ball with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th in game 6. Playing deep so nothing gets by you and he can't get back to the wall in time, jumps early, thinks he is closer to the wall than he is, and totally misses the ball. Can't believe it. If he hurries back to the wall, it is a routine catch.
Why in the world wouldn't you go all out for that ball knowing it would end the World Series???
I had no dog in the fight and i didn't care who won. I'm glad the Cards did for guys like peave who are season ticket holders but damn Nelson, you really cost the Rangers a Ring!
