I am not saying it is going to happen but we have all seen many instances over the years in situations like this where think a certain team is a cinch to win based on the momentum of the previous game and then other team turns it around the next day and wins.
I wouldn't touch tomorrow's game either way with a ten foot pole-imo it could go either way.

Pinnacle's got it at -140. Haven't followed the playoffs too closely, but Carp's been dominant, and all the momentum after tonight?? Can't see how it's that low....

But hey, what do I know....

could be simply the fact that they know ppl will play both texas and cards. the cards will get heavy action after tonight. the books will need texas later tonight no doubt.

i think the line is a lil low IMO.

but if you take emotion and drama out of what happend tonight and just look at the teams and matchups as well as the piss poor play defensively and bad bullpens i could and would argue just about anything can happen in game 7. i sure wouldnt lay -160 -180 or more on STL.

04 ALCS is all I can remember about a comeback like this. 86 WS probably gave off a similar vibe with such a huge comeback. And in both those instances, the team everyone thought would do it, did it.

carpenter is great but he has never pitched in a game 7 of a WS. neither has the starter for texas. either starter or both might lay eggs tonight. i wont bet game 7 most likely unless i can get texas at +140 or better

You are right Mavs, and I still have the stinging memory of 1986 but also 1975, when Fisk hit the home run to win Game 6 against the Reds Machine at Fenway only to see the Reds break my heart and turn it around in game 7 also at Fenway when I felt the momentum would carry over.

im not arguing the fact that cards wont win tomorrow. all im saying is id be extremely nervous laying more than 150 on anyone in a game 7. i guess id rather lose with + money then sweat out a win laying big juice.

Feel like that series had a totally different vibe. But I was rooting hard for the Mavs, had some coin on it too. But I know the public's perception was a lot different.
