  • Flat verusus varying units?

What's up all. Wanted to know everybody's thoughts on wagering flat units vs. varying your wagers on how much you like games. I personally vary my wagers, but after reviewing every bet I made over the last years I found I am hitting my lower wagers at a very high rate, thus decreasing my profits. Thoughts?

My record last year was about .500. I won about 30 units on the year cause my 4* (my highest regular play) hit at about .750. This year, I believe I'm below .500 but plus a few units cause my 4* are hitting at a higher rate. I believe some years it hurts me but I'm more in favor of the way I do it. Just my 2 cents

I vary my units, but it's all preference. There are ups and downs to both flat and varied units.

While capping I find games that I think have value. Some have more value than others, in my opinion, and I bet them that way accordingly.

Sometimes I go 2-3 and am up a few units. Sometimes I go 3-2 and have dropped a few. It's tricky, but if you are hitting the games you are more confident in at higher %, it pays off.

I vary my units. between 1-5 units always have. and in years past my POD would normally do pretty well. I dont bet many games. between 2-5 a day typically on a football card sat/sun. no teasers or parlays.

this year i have been downright brutal in college and so so in nfl. usually i do well in college and horrible in nfl.

truthfully in the long haul it is prolly wiser to bet flat every game, but when i cap games certain ones look better than others and I just can help laying more $$$ on a game i love as opposed to one i just think will cover the #.

I am one of the boring gamblers. I wager the same amount on every play. Same way at the casino's. Hardly ever vary my wager. I may bet larger amounts per play if I am on a roll but the amounts per play that night are the same.

I generally wager one unit on all pro games. If I feel strongly about one game I may bump it to a 2 or 3 unit play but usually stick to 1 unit for all games
