  • South Carolina/Mississippi State Game

It's games like this that make you wonder whether the fix is in. I am not complaining because I had Miss. State +3 but if I had South Carolina I would be pulling my hair out. South Carolina has a 14-10 lead with 9 seconds left in the game. South Carolina has the ball and it is 4th and 13 on the South Carolina 9. The South Carolina QB takes the snap and runs into the end zone for a safety as time runs out. South Carolina wins 14-12. I know somewhere down the road the gambling gods will get even with me for that one.

the worst part of it was he could simply run around til time expires and take a sack in bounds or take a knee or ....throw the ball away. i didnt have $$$ on the game but shit like that is fishy. taking a safety was completely unnecessary

in all fairness taking a saftey is the safest play, cant fumble or have a int returned, the players had nothing on the game (most likely) its a smart coaching move

why not throw the ball out of bounds? or better yet run around and take a knee....unlike nfl in college once you are down the play is dead its over. again i didnt bet this game but it was shady IMO without a doubt

they were at the 9yrd line. he didnt have to run 10yrs backwards. 5-6 yrds and run around is fine. he only needed to burn what 5seconds?

the best way to make sure you control your own fate is not to take the ball out of your hands, he ran backwards til the clock read 0:00 sucks as a gambler, but if you take that out of it, good coaching move
