I really think they want a fresh start and their own identity kb. I think they both want that. I know STL is looking at Sandberg but i think Francona would be a great fit there!

Believe me Wayne when I read the story today about Beckett, Lester(that shocked me) and Lackey drinking beer, eating chicken, playing video games and most importantly, not giving a flying fuck about the game, I was shocked, pissed and disappointed at THEM!
However, still isn't up to the GM to try to correct this situation or at least along with Francona done something so that it didn't snowball as it did during September?
Yeah sure it can be argued that these guys are grown men and expected to have a mature attitude(like Pedroia) towards their jobs and teammates.
However, as we all know, life is not perfect and someone had to give these guys a kick in the butt.
By my way of thinking and to play Devil's Advocate, if Theo did a great job and took such pride in helping the Sox achieve the success they did under his watch, then he should have equal pride for at least the duration of his contract to lead the team out of the collapse which occurred in September and help them to get back on track.
