Derek Jeter HBO show

Any of you guys seen this? I'll be the first to admit I have always been a Yankee hater and have never cared much for what Jeter has done, but after watching the show I have a much better appreciation for what he has accomplished and he seems like a pretty cool dude.

I watched it and thought it was very well done. I've always respected the guy, but is it possible that he really could be one of the good guys out there in shobiz or sports? He seemed pretty damn genuine to me.

Jeter has been under the microscope his entire career.the only thing the tabloids ever found out about was him dating mariah carey.if greg maddux is not the first unanimous vote getting hall of famer then i think jeter will.

Yep I saw it. It was a good show. Nice to see his dad in the stands when he hit his 3000. Family is a good thing!

Totally agree :D

Jeter is a great talent and one of the great professionals as well. Never getting into trouble or causing waves. Deserves anything he gets for lifetime awards because of this. But that unanimous vote will never happen.
