Haynesworth played in only 20 games for Washington, making 6½ sacks, and was in constant legal trouble away from the field. Last season, he feuded with Shanahan and was suspended for the final four games for conduct detrimental to the club.

Both of these guys are going to be a nuisance IMO.

There must be something you think your team could use Phil?

Does anyone think Haynesworth is in shape? Did he report weighing 500 lbs?

New England needs another solid RB. They have 3 that are all at retirement age.

                  What?!?!

Green Ellis ran for 1,000 yards and he is only 26 and Woodhead was their 3rd down freak and he is only 26 too. They drafted two guys i like a lot in Vareen from Cal. and Ridley from LSU. I feel pretty good about RB's. Morris is up there at 34 but he can eat some carries. Maybe they will get Ricky Williams for some more depth!

Assuming Brady stays healthy, they are good there. They have a great set of TE's (Hernandez & Gronkowski). At Wr i would like 1 more guy for depth but they look pretty good there with Welker, Ocho, Branch and Tate. O-Line looks solid. Wish they would sign Mankins long term and Lyght for 1 more year but it looks solid. RB's look pretty good too with Green Ellis, S Morris, Woodhead, Faulk (Great blocker, Leader and 3rd down back coming back from injury) and you also have the 2 they drafted out of Cal. (S. Vareen) & (S. Ridley) from LSU.

Kicking game is great, return game is great.

Defense ... What, last in the league vs the pass? The D-Line is stacked with Ty Warren coming back from injury, Mike Wright coming back from injury and the addition of Haynesworth to go with other guys like Vince. LB's are young but Mayo is a stud and Spikes looks good but he is very young still. They could use a veteran leader here for depth and experience. Secondary looks solid with Bodden coming back. McCourtey was a Rookie pro bowl stud and Butler is a year older. Chung & Meriweather look like a great duo at safety too. They also drafted a very promising CB in Dowling too.

LB, LB, LB!!!! I think they are 1 LB away!!!
Pats ought to sign Barrett Ruud the FA LB from Tampa. He is only 28 and has been a tackling machine his whole career with Tampa Bay

Ochocinco sucks! Not even Brady can make his sorry ass look good. Like I've said before he runs his mouth way too much instead of freaking playing the game.

Also the Patriots pass defense sucks! Brady and company can not win the season by themselves. They need someone on the defense to step up!

Ocho get a doughnut in Week 6: Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco was thrown to once in Week 6 against the Cowboys. He apparently ran the wrong route because the pass sailed by incomplete and he exited the field. Even though he didn't do anything, the Patriots were able to win the game 20-16 without him.

Ochocinco has just nine catches for 136 yards heading into a bye next week. Ochocinco has been a disappointment so far this year and many Fantasy owners are fed up. The Pats face the Steelers in Week 8, which is a tough matchup. Until Ochcocinco is more involved in the offense he is not a recommended Fantasy WR option.

Haynesworth downplays hammy injury : Patriots DL Albert Haynesworth said the hamstring injury that sidelined him briefly against the Jets in Week 5 "wasn't serious at all." He only played 20 snaps after missing the previous two games with a back injury.

Haynesworth has recorded just two tackles so far this season and has had a hard time staying healthy in his first year with the Patriots. Continue to view him as a low-end Fantasy DL in IDP formats at this point.

Brady is average, Defense is a joke.
