Atlanta is a horrible sports City. I learned that years ago when a Braves team that did nothing but win couldn't get any support.

Your right Wayne. Early 90's it was exciting but then we all knew we would make the playoffs every year and then choke at the plate. From 1990-2011 with the pitching staffs the braves have had we should have minimum 4 championships IMO. Falcons are getting better but here in Atlanta the bulldogs are the main football team to alot of people

I didn't like it to much at first just cause that's one less party weekend seriously though NASCAR made the right call. Cold as shit and rain every spring race. I think pocono and California should have 1 race. Pocono is the boringest race of the year IMO

Kb no problems at all. I'm agreeing with you guys. UGA football is the most advertised team in the city and it's 100 miles away. Atlanta is not a sports town bro. We all talk alot about sports but as far as attending alot of games we suck.

I texted Tech last week and I swore I would never bet on the braves again. They piss me off so bad. Take Braves-1.5 in a game and watch them win or lose by 1 but leave 12 guys on base. That shit has happened for 20 years now. Being a braves fan is like being a cubs or bills fan

what people fail to realize is that Atlanta is a great sports city it just concentrates on college sports more than anything else.

first off the best first college football game of the season is always in atlanta for the chickfila kickoff or whatever its called.We have the sec championship every year.Here is the problem with Fans here.We got very spoiled by The Braves and after winning 14 straight division titles as a fan u kinda dont get excited about much unless its playoffs.

2nd thing is that alot of people relocate to atlanta from larger cities.So if you have the knicks in town there are alot of people from new york living in Atlanta so they buy the tickets to that certain game because thats thier team.So atlanta gets a bad rep for not being a great sports town when really it is,

falcons have been sold out for about 5 yrs now,the greatest golf tournament of the year is about 45 min from atlanta and college football would not be the same without Atlanta
