4th Qtr Chokes in the Playoffs So Far

Wow, I can't recall a playoffs with so many 4th qtr chokes. OKC choked almost every game away and Chicago is doing the same. All these teams do is give the ball to their best player, isolate and forget about the other 4 guys on the floor...it's so predictable.

Take away everything else but that missed free throw was a choke. Hate to be harsh but Rose is an excellent FT shooter. His team needed him to hit that. He is their Nowitki...just like Dirk hit the pressure two free throws against OKC.

You are right though plenty of choking going around.

You know the other side of the coin to all of this is that players like Lebron and Nowitski have risen to the occasion and earned their pay annd shown why their teams are paying them as much as they are.
Lets not kid ourselve here-the Heat went out in the offseason and tried to buy the NBA Championship-whether one agress with these tactics or not, the fact is that looking at how well this team has perfomed so far in the Playoffs(thats all that matters), they have done a pretty damn good job of assessing their needs as well as obviously who they needed to sign to achieve these ends and just as importantly obtaining the players they wanted on the floor when the game was on the line.
Dallas/Miami SHOULD be a great series, but as we all know in sports, there is always the possibility that one team can win in four or five games as was the case in the two series just completed and/or the games not close, making it a dud.
