I think it will happen before football season I agree I would get it all out but a couple extra hundred and just use it to play around with if I had anything over $500 in an account I would be getting it out

Agreed. You know the Feds are gonna look to take down some of the bigger offshore sites. I took out most of my $ after college BB ended and kept6 only a real small balance for shits and giggles

I do not have a problem with anybodys opinion on this and mine is no better than any of yours but i have a different take on it. Nobody knows what, if anything, happens next. I do think you guys are way off base though and in panic mode a little premature.

IMO, they had their crackdown on the Sportsbooks already and that was a few years ago. The Poker sites were going to be next at some point and it finally happened. I don't think the Sportsbooks are next, i think that already happened and the only next there is was the Poker sites, which just happened.

The Poker and poker sites were being shoved right in the Feds face on a daily basis. ESPN had a multi million $ deal, poker shows were all over tv and they were advertising big time for all those poker sites busted. It was everywhere. People were sponsoring it and they were sponsoring people in turn for things like the World Series of Poker. Estimates say that about 6,000 of the 8,500+ that were in the World Series of Poker were people put there by tourneys won on these websites. The field is expected to drop back down to around 3,000 for next years tourney because of this bust.

They were too cocky and arrogant about promoting themselves here in the States and the Feds finally pulled the plug on them.

It has ZERO bearing on the Sportsbooks. I could be right or I could be wrong. It's JMO.

Poker sites were taken down as Wayne said they are all over the TV, newspapers, news etc. And the Poker community has been fighting hard to get it legalized. I believe Washington just passed a law were people can play poker online with them. This crack down was just another way to squeeze more money out of someone since the USA needs cash.

Sportsbooks got cracked down on years ago so now it was the Poker sites turn.

Very simple is anyone having problems getting paid? The poker sites are paying all of the USA players accounts back.
