I didn't put down Papelbon pet se and certainly not Crawford, who I still have hope for.
I never said they would be that dominant
and unlike others, expressed doubt some place that the losses of V Martinez and Beltre were no big deal.
IMO there was and is too little emphasis on catching which I consider vital to this team-ojt won't get it done in Boston.
Keeping Wakefield on the roster was a stupid move before the season even began.
Why should I be optimistic, simply because it is early?
That ten game losing streak near the end of spring
training and the worst start since 1945(when the team was horrible) is cause for concern-perhaps the Sox should release Wakefield and replace him with an exorcist.

Hey they got a great shot. Very tough road but they have the tools and some playoff experience from last year. Having Perkins makes a huge difference as well. I am sure you agree.
