Good thing Boston plays in the shitty AL East where they still have a shot to climb back in this thing

There could be more trouble brewing for the Sox this weekend as Toronto and Sox former pitching coach John Farrell and now manager of the Blue Jays come to Fenway for four games.
I would think that his knowledge of the Sox pitchers and hitters other than perhaps Gonzalez might give his team an advantage over the already struggling Sox and the pitching staff.
As much as I hope I am wrong, I see Sox winning two games at most with good chance Jays will take three and an outside chance for a sweep.
If badmouthing the Sox and being wrong is the way to get this team going, good, and I will be glad to admit I am wrong.

I guess Bobby Jenks implosion was Saltamachia's fault?

In the case of Jenks, it was more a case of Theo going to the dollar store(or maybe scrapheap is better) to try to save some money by resurrecting a piece of used/worn out garbage that no one else wanted! lol
ps he tried the same experiment with John Smoltz and we all know the sorry results.

Savage, even though you saw them slumping to end the preseason, you couldn't have imagined a start like this no?

Absolutely not kb-I thought they might get off to no worse than a 500 start but not this disaster.

Savage, I have Papelbon in a fantasy league. Should I get rid of him for another closer, or will he become valuable soon?

Tough one-he is pitching better this season but who knows if it will last.
In all honesty I am not that familiar with fantasy leagues and how they operate-I think Wayne or another Sox fan into that stuff could give you a better answer than I.

                    Can you say 1ST PLACE!

                    (27-12) after that (2-10) start

Well I am 1-1 of late-right about the Mavs and wrong about the Sox and even Saltalamacchia(for now anyways)-my God what a turnaround!!!
This is one split I will gladly take!!!

I guess the 2-10 start in the end was a killer.

Seriously the way they started was ultimately there downfall... Yes they stormed back but the beginning was bad... If they start 6-6 instead on 2-10 Francona still would be managing etc etc... What IFs don't mean shit but there start to the year hurt this team

(7-20) in September hurt them way more than (12-15) in April did bryce. If they finished in September like thay started in April, they would be in the playoffs. It was their worst month of baseball since 1952. That says it all.
