DETROIT (AP) - A former University of Toledo football player has pleaded guilty to a gambling charge as part of a point-shaving scheme at the school.
Adam Cuomo says he regularly spoke to a Detroit-area gambler and supplied non-public information about the Toledo team and its opponents.
He pleaded guilty Thursday in Detroit federal court to conspiring to influence sporting events between 2004 and 2006.
