Massage therapist Stephanie Dusenberry says Brett Favre sent her inappropriate text messages: report

Brett Favre was apparently not embarrassed after Deadspin reported on Aug. 4 that the now-retired quarterback had sent creepy text messages along with an X-rated crotch shot to TV personality Jenn Sterger.

Minnesota massage therapist Stephanie Dusenberry says Favre sent her similar innuendo-laden text messages in September, just a few weeks after Deadspin reported that Favre had sent the texts and photo to Sterger in 2008, the sports website reported Tuesday.

Deadspin editor A.J. Daulerio wrote that Dusenberry contacted the site on Jan. 4 and said that she wanted to tell her story because she was concerned about the NFL's "light punishment" of Favre. Commissioner Roger Goodell said there was no evidence that Favre had violated the NFL's personal conduct policy, but fined him $50,000 for failing to cooperate with the league.

Jon Hopeman, Dusenberry's attorney, did not return a call for comment.

Two massage therapists, Christina Scavo and Shannon O'Toole, sued Favre earlier this month, claiming they lost their part-time jobs with the Jets after complaining about suggestive and inappropriate text messages from the now-disgraced quarterback.

Deadspin said Dusenberry had worked for the Vikings in 2006 and 2007, then left to start her own business. She continued to treat Vikings players. She told the website that Favre got her number from another player. She says that in one message, he asked her to stop by his home because his wife was away. "You don't know what it's like to not be touched by a woman in three weeks," he allegedly wrote.

Dusenberry reported the text messages from Favre to Eden Prairie, Minn., police, but she says the police told her that Favre had not broken any laws, so there was little they could do.

An NFL spokesman declined comment. Favre filed retirement papers with the league earlier this week.
